ode to GIANDUJA!

Gianduja is my favorite confection...
(Pronunciation: zhahn-DOO-yuh)
It is very popular in Europe, originating in Turin, Italy around 1852.
Americans have yet to recognize this as a common confection. I plan to change that!

Definition: a finely ground smooth mixture of chocolate and nut butter, such as hazelnut, almond, pistachio, sesame, peanut, etc.

Through my confection journeys I have used almost every nut/chocolate combination.
Here are a few of my favorites...

Peanut-Fuilletinne Gianduja Cup

Caramelized Sesame Gianduja square

Marcona Almond Gianduja peaks

Praline Gianduja Domes

Pistachio Gianduja Triangles

Caramelized Hazelnut Gianduja Cups
