Today was absolutely gorgeous; the morning fog, followed by huge blue skies and white fluffy clouds. Which made for a perfect drive on the 128 through Alexander Valley. All the vines are sprouting with bright lime green leaves and the rolling hills are emerald green. I drove to DeLorimer Winery to deliver 35, 2 piece confection boxes for their Spring "Bud Break" Wine Dinner.
I chose Easter pastel purple ribbon for the outside of the boxes.
Inside was a dark chocolate, black Hawaiian lava salted caramel and a milk chocolate peanut gianduja barrel.
Ryan, the wine manager, said my chocolate will "put the evening over the top". Chocolate seems to have that effect....
In payment I opted for six of their finest wines. Awesome.
